Te Rake asks:
Industrial Degreaser is my best chemical because it really does a good job at cleaning but I’ve been told that it strips the tiles of its protecting coating and makes it more slippery
Is this true ?
Tiles are the most chemically resilient things you can put on your floor. They are baked at about 1400 degrees C and the glazing on the surface is chemically similar to glass.
So degreasers won’t damage it. In fact you can pretty much put anything on it (other than very strong acids and alkalis), but if you use degreaser on it it will strip off any wax or polish on it – but maybe that’s what you’re trying to do.
