Bore water residue on glass

Hello Dr Chemical. We have a new glass pool fence and our sprinklers are all on bore – good quality bore water mind you; it’s suitable to fill our pool. However it leaves quite stubborn white calcium like residue on the glass and with the hot Perth easterly wind this summer, it’s setting like concrete.
Will any product applied to it, cause the water to bead and not stick, like if we were to get the professional coating done?
Side note; I have spoken with companies that do coat pool fences and they said they cannot give us a warranty as we use bore water because the result can’t be guaranteed. Thank you.

Make your own spray by buying some citric acid from the supermarket. I use this for my shower and it works really well it’s also much cheaper than buying the ready made commercial brands.

You can minimise adherance of water by coating the glass with a silicone coating of some sort. Mr Sheen is a good option

Thanks but will anything cause bore water to head and not stick?

Any acid will get it off. Ajay Spray n Wipe (with Formic Acid) will work. Or BAM Easy Off bathroom cleaner. Any bathroom cleaner will work as they are acidic
