Can pre-wash sprays cause my front loader to explode?!

Hi, your site is so fab! I’ve just replaced my ancient top loader with a new front loader. In reading the instruction manual it says that cleaning agents containing solvents (eg stain remover sprays) may cause the machine to explode! I have a little toddler whose clothes are always covered in a multitude of stains (mostly food). So I spray every thing at the time to avoid deep staining by the time I wash. I haven’t been able to find whether the most recent Sard Spray formula is solvent based or not and whether it is safe to use. If not, what can front load users use (effectively of course!)?
