We have just moved into a house and there is a distinct smell of cat urine in the linen cupboard. I have sprayed a product by Nature’s Miracle No More Marking which was recommended by the lass at City Farmers. The smell is still in the cupboard do you have any ideas?

Yes – try vinegar. Urine is an amine which is alkaline, and the vinegar is acidic so it will neutralise it. Failing that, in the cleaning aisle at Bunnings there is a product that is designed just for this purpose. I forget the name, but it’s something obvious like Pet Odour Remover. It’s in a green trigger pack from memory
