My wife and daughter smeared eyebrow dye-/tint on the kitchen benchtop and tried to get it off with acetone to no avail, any suggestions? It is a cream coloured Laminex.

If a solvent hasn’t done the job then try changing the pH. Oven cleaner or sugar soap. Or if they don’t work try an acidic cleaner such as Ajax Spray n Wipe.
