I’m going to tile a wet area and I was wondering what I could do to waterproof the cement grout between the tiles?
It essentially already is waterproof. If you’re trying to stop the dirty buildup on the grout there’s not much you can do about it – it’s just fat off your skin. Having said that, if you wanted to make it a smoother surface that’d be easier to clean, there are gloss finishes you can get for sealing slate that would do the job. Just look for “slate sealer” in the hardware store
